Research at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Faculty is home to world-class researchers and groundbreaking research projects.

The Associate Dean for Research and Engagement plays a key role in promoting excellence and innovation in research, proposing and implementing strategic initiatives, and advising the Dean on the Faculty’s research strategy. This role is supported by the Faculty Research Committee, which provides a forum for discussing research-related matters affecting all units within the Faculty, ensuring a collaborative and cohesive approach to research development.

The Faculty is also home to various research projects, advancing knowledge across multiple disciplines. We actively encourage postdoctoral researchers to explore opportunities to collaborate with our leading scholars across a wide range of disciplines. For doctoral researchers, the Faculty offers support through the prestigious John and Pat Hume Scholarships, awarded annually to outstanding candidates.

Our research is supported by the Arts and Humanities Institute, which fosters scholarship, hosts funded research initiatives, and connects our work with a global audience.
