Staff members from MU Chinese Studies department were delighted to participate in a vibrant Spring Festival Gala hosted by Gaelcholáiste Mhaigh Nuad in Maynooth on 9 February 2024. Enthusiastic Transition Year students, under the guidance of Ms. Sophie Ní Dháimhín, a distinguished graduate from the MU Chinese Studies BA Programme, embraced the festivities with traditional Shadow Play, Lion Dance performances, and Chinese music. Additionally, the students showcased their culinary skills by preparing a delectable array of traditional Chinese dishes, adding another layer of richness to the cultural exchange and celebration.
