Maynooth hosts film screening, visiting professor for International Restorative Justice Week 2022
To mark International Restorative Justice Week, the screening was organised in partnership between Maynooth University School of Law and Criminology and Restorative Justice: Strategies for Change (RJS4C), a project involving partners from ten European countries seeking to support the development of restorative justice in criminal justice settings.

Funding success in HEA Gender Equality Enhancement Fund for Dr Clive Earls
Congratulations to Dr Clive Earls on his recent funding success! Dr Earls successfully secured full funding of €50,000 from the Gender Equality Enhancement Fund from the Higher Education authority as the Principal Investigator on the inter-institutional “Gender Equality in Language Studies” (GELS) project, which is highly innovative and constitutes the first national study of gender inequality in Language Studies in Irish HE.

This article considers the policy justifications for State controls on recipients’ choice amongst COVID-19 vaccine brands, at various points in the pandemic, focusing on European countries and drawing in particular on the UK context as an example.

The PRIMERA (Promoting Research and Innovation in Mental hEalth seRvices for fAmilies) research team - based in the Centre for Mental Health and Community Research and led by Professor Sinéad McGilloway - have been awarded the Lionel Hersov Memorial Award 2022 by the (UK) Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH).
