Launch of Letters 1916 in Cork

The Letters 1916 project launches in Cork on Thursday 26 November 2015. A series of events associated with the project kick off in the Boole Library and Boole Lecture Theatre 2 in UCC from 2pm and the launch begins with a reception in the UCC Staff Dining Room at 5:15pm to be followed by a series of evening talks. Mellon Foundation, have developed a virtual world to allow researchers and members of the public a novel way to understand The Battle of Mount Street, one of the most seminal engagements of the 1916 Rising.
