MU researchers win Research Ireland enterprise scheme funding
Three Maynooth University researchers have received awards under Research Ireland's Enterprise Partnership Scheme.

Dr Elizabeth Boyle - Honorary Senior Fellow in Humanities at the University of Suffolk
Dr Elizabeth Boyle of the Maynooth University Department of Early Irish has been appointed Honorary Senior Fellow in Humanities at the University of Suffolk. This fellowship will help facilitate future teaching and research collaborations between the two institutions in key areas related to Dr Boyle's expertise such as medieval history and creative writing.

Dr Richard Fitzpatrick article on RTE Brainstorm
Our colleague Dr Richard Fitzpatrick has written a piece for RTE Brainstorm examining the career of an 18th century Tipperaryman in Spain and Colonial Peru. The brief piece on George (or ‘Jorge’) Ryan will provide readers with an idea of the factors that drew Irish people to Latin America during this period. A second article on Richard’s current IRC research focusing on the Irish in Tenerife will be published by Brainstorm in January.
