On Tuesday 5 November 2024 we celebrated Ogham and the Manuscripts of the Royal Irish Academy, with a presentation of a magnificent art piece by artist Thomas Keyes to the RIA, inspired by the 14th century Book of Ballymote. You can read all about the event here: Ogham thoughts – Frank McNally on a new artwork, an old alphabet, and the longest word in Irish – The Irish Times.
