Dr Muireann Ní Bhrolcháin has recently been involved in an innovative online project to commemorate the thousandth anniversary of the Battle of Clontarf. 1014 retold is a project organised by producer Sabian Bonnici and creative director Alan Doherty and includes a Twitter retelling of the story of the battle in April 1014, combining historical sources with imaginative storytelling.
