The 2023 Annual Conference of MU Chinese Studies was held in Maynooth University on 28 October. The topic of the conference is: New developments in Chinese Studies - Area studies, diplomacy and International relations. The conference is hosted by Maynooth University Chinese Studies, with the support of UCC’s Irish Institute of Chinese Studies (IICS). Contributors from East China Normal University, Huanggang Normal University, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Southwest Jiaotong University, Sichuan University, University of Limerick, University College Cork, Trinity College Dublin and Post Primary Languages Ireland attended the conference, and highlighted the latest developments in respective fields.
