Talking Postgraduate Research in the Arts and Humanities
“Talking Postgraduate research in the Arts & Humanities” is a series of sessions organised by Final Year PhD students from the School of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Maynooth University. These interactive webinars are an open space for all postgraduate students -particularly but not exclusively- in the Arts & Humanities to get together and share their research work at Maynooth University, as well as their challenges, achievements, and their experiences through the Postgraduate journey.

Funding: NUI Travelling Doctoral Studentships
The NUI Travelling Doctoral Studentship Scheme is one of the University’s longest running competitions and has been in existence since 1910. In 2022, the maximum value of a full Travelling Doctoral Studentship will be €26,500 per annum to include a stipend of €18,500 and a contribution towards fees of up to €8,000, where appropriate.

Seminar: seminar ‘Progressing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Ireland’s Research and Innovation System - Irish Research Council
The Irish Research Council invites you to the online seminar Progressing EDI in Ireland’s Research and Innovation System on Thursday 17 February, 2.30pm. The seminar will discuss the present state and future direction of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in the eco-system, building on from the Council’s ongoing commitment to EDI. It will include a synopsis of the IRC’s review of its outgoing gender strategy and action plan, to be published shortly.
