Evaluation of Gaeltacht Schools Recognition Scheme – TEG Test | PI | Educational Research Centre / Consultancy | In October 2016, the Department of Education published A Policy for Gaeltacht Education 2017-2022. As part of this policy, a recommendation was made that a research programme be established to evaluate the implementation of the police, and that this research should involve the Educational Research Centre (ERC) and the Department of Education inspectorate. The ERC has now begun this evaluation on behalf of the Department of Education, and as part of this study, The Centre for Irish Language: Research, Teaching and Testing, Maynooth University, has been engaged to conduct one aspect of the work: TEG Irish-language testing and a report on the levels of Irish-language proficiency among a cohort of third-year students in Gaeltacht Schools. | 15-SEP-21 | 31-JUL-22 | 27600 | |
