Climate change is one of the most pressing environmental issues facing global society in the next 50 years. Mitigating the worst impacts and adapting to the challenges of climate and environmental change requires building multidisciplinary research capacity in key sectors.
Maynooth University is an international leader in this area using interdisciplinary approaches spanning the science/social science/policy divide to promote a deeper understanding of climate change and develop robust strategies for reducing societal impacts.
