Maynooth University IT Services is implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on all Maynooth University student accounts. This will be turned on for all students on the 16th of November 2022. All you need to do between now and then is to register your devices by visiting the link below and following the steps found under Setting Up MFA:
The introduction of MFA to all student accounts follows that of all staff accounts, and this will further enhance the security of all Maynooth University infrastructure and data. MFA makes it more difficult for cybercriminals to get access to college accounts thus protecting us all from a cyber-attack.
MFA will be required off campus, and you will receive an MFA prompt when logging on to the following MU services when you are off campus:
All queries should be sent to the MFA team via our “ask” service.
